![]() This feature helps your children avoid excessive screen usage, which is known to cause adverse effects. You can block screen access at specific periods, e.g., at night, at dinner, or during school hours. Screen Time enables you to set limits on when your children can use their phones. Screen Time Labs lets you cancel your subscription at any time or request a refund. If you wish to remove those files it is as simple as deleting SentryPC's installation folder - a few mouse clicks - certainly not an hour of time. You can try the Premium version for seven days before paying for it. These files make reinstall quicker and easier should you decide to in the future (not having to setup all your settings over again). With that said, there are settings files that we leave on the device after uninstall and I believe this is what you are referring to. When you uninstall SentryPC your dashboard will update and tell you when the uninstall is complete for that device - at that point it is indeed uninstalled and no longer running on the device. We are always here to assist customers in this aspect of the installation and will even remotely connect and do it for you if you wish. What sometimes causes trouble for customers, and I believe what happened in your case, is configuring your antivirus not to cause an issue with SentryPC. ![]() Adding in groups is easier for you as the customer when viewing these logs in your account - keystrokes amongst different windows/places are separate this way.Īs far as SentryPC is concerned it is only a matter of running the installer. It is possible, without knowing this, that it would appear keystrokes would not be working when in reality they are working just fine - that group just hasn't been trigged to add as a log entry yet. There are different 'triggers' built into the software that determine when a group of keystrokes is added to your account. Keystrokes are not added one-by-one to your account, rather, they are added in groups. You used keystroke recording as an example and sometimes customers are confused how this works. ![]() You can view a detailed 'change log' in your account that outlines the changes for every version released. Yes, all software has the occasional bug and fixes and yes we do update the software with new features, changes, and so on. If you were having trouble with your installation and/or antivirus I would expect that we offered to connect to your computer and do this for you. When our support team told you this they were correct - it is not possible for certain features to work while others do not. It is either running on the device and functioning or it is not. Jon, SentryPC is an 'all or nothing' type of operation. Of course, if that were the case, there would be no need for updates or bug fixes. The answer to every question is just "You don't know what you're talking about." They even tried to tell me that it was physically impossible for software to work sometimes and not others that's just not how programming works. Contact them again with screenshots and details to show that the antivirus is not the problem, and they get rude, condescending, and blame everything on you. They respond right away and tell you how to bypass the computer's anti-virus. Contact them to tell them you had a problem, and they're great. Most importantly, customer service was pretty much the same. Open the browser and type something in it it works fine. If I left a document, did something else, and then came back to the document, the software might or might not record it. Under other conditions, it didn't work consistently. I type something in a document or into a browser, and the software tracks it. It has great features: keylogging, screenshot recording, user lockout, usb lockout, and most of these can be configured based on content (of a website), keystrokes, or even time of day. The price is certainly attractive, and the dashboard/user interface looks good and seems easy to navigate. Customer Service is non-existent beyond telling you how to bypass the anti-virus PROS What works is great, but unfortunately the consistency is about 50%.
